IBP Series Blower Purge Dryers The PHD compressed air dryer series are blower purge desiccant air dryers that produce low dew point air for plant and instrument air. PHD dryers use a standard 8 hour NEMA cycle. During an 8 hour NEMA cycle, one tower dries the compressed air while the other tower is regenerated by the heated purge system. At the 4 hour mark the regenerated tower goes online and the other tower begins to regenerate. The heated purge system features:

  • Valves - High performance cast iron butterfly valves with stainless steel internals
  • Heater - A low watt heater with optimal surface area to deliver lower heater sheath temperatures and ensure long heater life
  • Optional Jet Injection - Reduces purged air to 6% or less
