NAFCO manufactures a full line of panel and cartridge air intake filters and housings. NAFCO air intake filters can handle air flows up to 100,000 scfm and are available in efficiencies from 0.3 µm absolute to 40µm.

    NAFCO filter housings are constructed from rugged welded steel and offer a long service life installed outdoors or indoors. Housings can be mounted directly to equipment or inlet piping (connection sizes from ½’’ to 60’’).

    Crystal-Line Intake Air Filter System
    NAFCO’s Crystal-line intake air filter system helps remove corrosive chemical contaminants from compressed air. Trace quantities of hydrogen sulfide, benzene, and other chemical contaminants are present in the air around industrial sites. These chemicals create corrosion and damage compressor internals and downstream equipment.

  • Stage 1 – 10 µm 98% efficient pre-filter

    Crystal-line Technology
    Crystal-line media contains impregnated zeolite and impregnated activated carbon. Model CLI uses potassium permanganate to adsorb corrosive gases through oxidation. Model CLI is low dusting. Compared to competitive alumina chemisorbents CLI produces 90% less dust. Model CLII features impregnated activated carbon specially enhanced to remove selective acid gases and chlorides. CLII uses a high quality coconut shell granular activated carbon with a surface area of 1100 M2 per gram.

    NAFCO Biofil filters use a polyethersulphone membrane filter media and 100% polypropylene support components. Biofil cartridges have been tested in accordance with HIMA guidelines.

    NAFCO Polyfil Polypropylene Cartridges
    NAFCO Polyfil polypropylene cartridges are made with 100% polypropylene components. Cartridge parts are fusion bonded to ensure cartridge integrity. Fusion bonding removes glues, resins and bonding agents from the manufacturing process helping further reduce the filter’s extractable level. Polyfil cartridges have a high flow rate and low-pressure drop while supplying maximum dirt holding capacity.

    NAFCO Posiflow II Series absolute-rated pleated polypropylene filter cartridges provide a cost-effective solution for critical absolute-filtration liquid and gas filtration applications.     NAFCO Econo Series Pleated Cellulose Cartridges
    A cost-effective liquid and gas filtration solution, NAFCO Econo Series pleated cellulose cartridges have an extended filtration area. The extended filtration area means longer service life, higher flow rates, lower differential pressure and cost-effective contaminant removal. The Econo Series cartridges are constructed of pleated cellulose and polypropylene support components. A cellulose and micro fiberglass media version of the Econo Series filter is available for the most critical filtration applications.

  • Critical Service Media – 1 to 3 µm nominal filtration. Filter media composed of a single layer impregnated cellulose fiber and pleated with Refilco’s unique computer controlled pleat curing equipment. Applications: seal oil, gear oil, lubricating oil, and more.
  • Industrial Grade Media – 5 to 100 µm nominal filtration. Filter media is a single layer heavy-duty cellulose impregnated with phenolic resin providing high flow rates, low-pressure drop, and long service life. Applications: cutting fluids, solvents, fuel oil, and others.

    NAFCO Refilco PLH Series Cartridge
    Refilco's PLH series features an advanced pleated synthetic media with an epoxy coated wire backing. PLH Series cartridges can weather long-term exposure to fluids containing water without softening or deterioration.

    The multi-layer media is composed of microglass and polyester pleated with a rigid wire backing. The combination optimizes filtration and flow capacities. The multi-layer media increases pore volume per unit area resulting in high flow rates and precise filtration efficiencies. Benefits of the PLH Series and its multi-layer synthetic media with rigid wire backing include:

    NAFCO Refilco EDM Cartridges remove spark erosion residue from deionized water or dielectric oil improving flushing, cooling and insulating properties.
