Before the water is pumped to the demineralizer water skid, it must first pass through the water forwarding skid. Because the size of the fogging systems is frequently different, and because there are varying distances and elevation changes from the water source to the turbine, the water forwarding skids can be quite different. Custom-designed skids are available to take water from a lake, river, basin, or other water source and move it into the gas turbine fogging system.
Chilled Mirror Optical Hygrometers

Kahn manufactures accurate and drift free chilled mirror hygrometers capable of measuring moisture in the parts per billion range. How it Works 1. Fluid Energy can supply both cartridge and panel style turbine intake air filters.Fluid Energy’s partner EMW manufactures air filters optimized for use with new gas turbines to supply the protection they require: 95% efficiency at 0.4 µm. An advantage of EMW filters is the filter frame is reusable; only the media is changed-out. Having to only replace the media reduces disposal costs and shipping costs. EMW recommends a two or three stage filtration format.
Minipleats have V shaped pleats held in place by a plastic housing. The housings are completely cast to stop bypass of dust or any other contaminants. Minipleats are available in classes from F6 to F9 and H10 and H14.EMW offers a combination filter system that combines pocket filters and fine filters, saving space and reducing installation costs. The pocket filters can be changed with the turbine running and without disturbing the fine filters. Filter Housings and Intake Air Ductwork

NAFCO Polyfil Polypropylene Cartridges
NAFCO Polyfil polypropylene cartridges are made with 100% polypropylene components. Cartridge parts are fusion bonded to ensure cartridge integrity. Fusion bonding removes glues, resins and bonding agents from the manufacturing process helping further reduce the filter’s extractable level. Polyfil cartridges have a high flow rate and low-pressure drop while supplying maximum dirt holding capacity.
NAFCO Posiflow II Series Absolute Rated Pleated Polypropylene Cartridges
NAFCO Posiflow II Series absolute-rated pleated polypropylene filter cartridges provide a cost-effective solution for critical absolute-filtration liquid and gas filtration applications. The 100% polypropylene components are joined by fusion bonding to ensure cartridge integrity and low extractable levels.

Y Type and Basket Strainers
Fluid Energy distributes a wide range of strainers. Two of the most common are Y Type and Basket. Simple low pressure cast iron or larger high pressure special alloy Y Type strainers are available. Fluid Energy can supply Y Strainers from ANSI Class 125 through Class 2500 and higher. Materials of construction include: cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, 316 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, Hastelloy and more. Basket strainers work in straining applications requiring a large capacity. Fluid Energy's standard strainers have an open area ratio of 6 to 1. Additionally, greater open area ratio strainers are available. Sizes from ¼'' to 24'' are available in cast iron, bronze, carbon steel, stainless steel, and Alloy 20.

Generator Condition Monitors
Generator condition monitors work with a single-pass (or open-ventilation) cooling system in gas turbine generating systems. The generator condition monitor provides real-time monitoring of overheating and arcing. As we operate turbines closer and closer to their tolerances condition monitoring becomes absolutely necessary to minimize the potential of catastrophic failure.

H2 Purity Monitor
H2 purity monitors are used in gas turbine power generating units to monitor hydrogen gas purity. H2 purity monitors work with any generator in use today and can be supplied as a stand-alone monitor with display or as part of a larger system. The monitor can be customized with options to meet your plants requirements.
Why Monitor?
High-capacity turbine generators utilize hydrogen gas as a cooling medium because of its excellent heat transfer characteristics and because its low density results in reduced windage losses. Since hydrogen can be explosive when mixed with oxygen, gas purity is an important safety issue. The purity monitor continuously monitoring ensures that purity levels remain within acceptable limits.
Generator Tag Systems
Generator Tag Systems help you find generator "hotspots." Generator Tags are specially synthesized, chemically and thermally stable compounds. They are applied via paint to critical areas of the generator, so that areas of overheating can be identified during sample analysis. Generator Tags can be applied during scheduled maintenance outages.
